BETWEEN SOFTNESS AND RESISTANCE

Artist Statement

      My work begins where words fall short — in the tension between what is felt and what is expected.
Born between cultures and shaped by the landscapes of many places, I learned early that identity isn’t a fixed point — it’s a rhythm, a negotiation, a movement.
      I explore the body not only as form but as memory, emotion, sacrifice — a vessel of both beauty and burden. Much of my practice revolves around rethinking femininity — not as a role or appearance, but as a layered, living experience.
      Through light, texture, and symbolic figures, I search for what is real beneath all that is imposed.
      Each piece is a quiet rebellion, a tender confrontation, an attempt to listen deeply — first to myself, and then to the world.
      I don’t seek final answers. I seek presence.
